The High School Speech class of TBS is going to hold a debate this Wednesday at 12:45p. The class has been divided in half and will debate Pro-Life vs Pro-Choice. Parents and friends of TBS are welcome to attend this debate. Adults in attendance will be asked to be members of our judges panel in determining which side wins the debate. Please come.

Gordon Grosz passed away just after midnight this morning. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Please pray for Gordon Grosz and his family. He is the father of Roberta Scherck. He has bleeding in his head and is close to death.

We heard back from several after sending our first e-mail letter out using the new set up. Seems it came through with huge gaps of space and printed out over ten pages. We are sorry about that and appreciate your patience as we try and find a good option for sending our e-mail prayer letter out.

In about a month I will finish one of the evangelistic Bible studies I have been doing with a family. Both the mother and daughter are showing signs of their understanding of the gospel message. While the father continues to soften, I fear he is still holding out due to his love for some worldly habits. He is not the first to be like this.

TBS had a successful evening at the Holiday Inn Friday night. The room was full - lots of new people. Our gross for the evening was right at $10,000. - down from the past couple of years. With a recent donation that will be directed towards the auction fund, we will be over our budget again this year.

Psalm 12:8 "The wicked freely strut about when what is vile is honored among men." NIV What an enlightening commentary upon what is happening in America today. The more we honor things that God has shamed, the more brazen the wicked will become.
